The concepts developed by the RJRC Task Force are generated by the Task Force's Teams. Currently there are nine Teams as delineated below.

Each Team explores readiness, response and recovery issues from the perspective of its particular constituency. Team work product is share with the Task Force through a weekly report.

Military		Patricia Blassie Becky Steidle		The Military Team facilitates the exchange of information on key RJRC-related issues with the commanders and staff of the region’s Reserve and National Guard units.
Law Enforcement/ Public Safety		Charles Moffatt Robert Full		The Law Enforcement and Safety Team facilitates the exchange of information on key RJRC-related issues with local and municipal law enforcement and public safety professionals located in the region.
Medical		George Huber Fred Peterson Patricia Rafaele		The Medical Team supports the RJRC Task Force by enlisting experts with military, governmental and civilian medical backgrounds to develop recommendations aimed at implement natural and man-made disaster readiness, response and recovery efforts including those caused by Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD); and chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive events (CBRNE).
Land and Facilities		Shawn Fox Randy Forister		The Land and Facilities Team supports the RJRC Task Force by coordinating efforts aimed at developing information for the final recommendations that will be made on a potential RJRC facility located at the Pittsburgh International Airport.
Budget and Finance		John Brosky DeWitt Peart		The Budget and Finance Team supports the RJRC Task Force by soliciting and securing funding for the day-to-day operations of the Task Force; providing oversight of Task Force expenditures; and identifying potential long-term sources of public and private funds for Regional Joint Readiness Center operations and activities.
Political /External Communications		Keith Dorman		The External Communications and Political team supports the Task Force by informing key external audiences of Task Force activities and achievements; and is responsible for the exchange of information between the Task Force and identified federal, state and local elected and appointed officials on issues affecting the RJRC.
Business Interface / Economic Recovery		James Rooney Sally Haas		The Business Interface and Economic Recovery Team assists the Task Force in identifying equipment, technology, logistical and planning assets from the private sector available to support disaster readiness and response, as well as the training, services, capabilities and best practices available to assist businesses in recovering from disasters.
Homeland Security		Wyman Briggs		The Homeland Security Team facilitates the exchange of information on key RJRC-related issues with federal and state agency representatives located in the region and tasked with homeland security and homeland defense responsibilities.
Education and Research		Ken Sochats		The Education and Research Team’s three areas of focus include: identifying best practices and support materials for other Task Force Teams; inventory, categorize and organize the resources of the region’s educational institutions to assist in mitigating the effects of disasters; and apply the appropriate capabilities of the region’s educational institutions to homeland security and homeland defense challenges.
